A good idea to bring cash

We ask that festival-goers pay the $5 admission with cash. We don’t have a means of handling credit cards at the gates, so please have cash on hand. Remember, it’s only $5 for adults. Kids 12 and under are free. You will get a ticket stub to show you’ve paid. That will be your ticket in and out, should you need to run to your car for something during the festival.

Recent festival have had issues with credit cards working with local wifi. We anticipate similar issues. When a lot of people come into an area, cell/wifi service can break down from time to time. It’s a good idea to have enough cash to pay for food, vendor items, etc. Hopefully, the vendors will be able to run your credit cards, but be aware that there could be some issues with that. I’m not sure about Venmo and PayPal issues. Those may work when other methods fail.

We had hoped to have mobile devices to boost signal, but much of that equipment is being used in hurricane ravaged areas of Louisiana. Hopefully that equipment will become available by the time of our festival, but that is looking doubtful.
